Coach Alex Cameron, widely known throughout the region as "Coach AC," is a premier football mentor and program builder with over a decade of experience advancing the sport in the Maritimes. As the Founder of Insight Football Academy (IFA) and Insight Strength and Performance, he has established Nova Scotia’s leading development pathway, focusing on fundamental mastery and collegiate-level preparation for young athletes.
A highly decorated leader, AC was named the 2021 Football Nova Scotia Coach of the Year and has achieved remarkable success on the provincial stage, including:
Championship Success: Head Coach of the U18 Atlantic Bowl Gold Medalists, leading a dominant squad that outscored opponents 110–20.
National Impact: Guided the U18 Canada Cup team to its highest finish in a decade (5th) as Running Backs Coach.
Organizational Leadership: Program Director and Senior Board Member of the Halifax Argos, instrumental in revitalizing youth football in the city.
Beyond tactical coaching, AC is a high-performance specialist with a background in Strength & Conditioning for Saint Mary’s University and the Dalhousie Tigers. His "ground-up" philosophy focuses on building versatile athletes who are technically sound, physically resilient, and mentally prepared for the next level of competition.
Coach Adrien Grant, known throughout the community as “Coach AG,” is a veteran defensive specialist with a career defined by leadership and technical expertise. A standout DL/OLB for the Saint Mary’s Huskies (2017–21), Grant served as a four-year team captain and earned a prestigious selection to the 2020 East-West Bowl, marking him as one of the top defensive prospects in the country.
Since transitioning to the sidelines, AG has become a cornerstone of player development in the Maritimes. His coaching portfolio includes:
- Provincial Excellence: Defensive Line Coach for Football Nova Scotia (U16 and U18 levels).
- Tactical Leadership: Defensive Coordinator for the Halifax Argos and D-Line Coach for powerhouse high school programs like Citadel and Auburn.
- Elite Training: A lead coach with Insight Football Academy (IFA) since 2022, specializing in high-performance defensive line play and athletic mentorship.
From the varsity stage to the provincial sidelines, AG is dedicated to refining the next generation of "in the trenches" talent in Nova Scotia.
Coach Isaiah Okoli is a championship-winning linebacker and defensive anchor with an elite pedigree spanning from the CJFL to U Sports. A five-year starter and team captain at Saint Mary’s University, Okoli cemented his legacy as one of the Huskies' all-time greats, ranking 2nd all-time in career tackles and leading the program to the 2025 Loney Bowl Championship.
Before moving east, Isaiah was a standout for the Langley Rams, where he was a 2x Cullen Cup Champion and ranked as the #7 overall player in the CJFL. A participant in the East-West Bowl and the CFL Regional Combine, he has consistently proven himself on the national stage.
Now a lead coach at Insight Football Academy (IFA), Isaiah translates his high-level playing experience into mentoring the next generation of athletes, specializing in defensive IQ and elite athletic development.
